We here at Ortho Guide have many years of clinical orthodontic experience. However, we are not so far removed from the educational setting to forget the pressures of boards testing. All of our editors are board certified with extensive knowledge on how to pass the written exams. With our help, you can do the same.
I wanted to start Ortho Guide when I, myself, was in residency. My time was split between the demands of seeing patients, family and all the minutia that came along with being a resident. When the time came to study for the written boards, I felt I had used up my allotted 24 daily hours with more frivolous things like… sleep. I recognized that the stress put upon dental students and dental residents is, in a lot of ways, becoming worse. If I could do one small thing to lessen the negative effects that I personally dealt with, I would give it a shot. Enter Ortho Guide.
We have future aspirations for Ortho Guide. Eventually, we would like to add educational material for the scenario-based clinical exam. Furthermore, we want to make Ortho Guide the hub of orthodontic CE. Much like my time in residency, I am finding that there are continued struggles with education in practice. To make Ortho Guide a one stop shop for all your orthodontic CE needs, now that is a dream come true.
So, join us in making education more effective and less stressful.
